SJJ Embedded Micro Solutions Releases DUA Administrator v1.0

Utility that provides an interface to Device Update Agent parameters

San Diego, Calif., Jan 28, 2008 – SJJ Embedded Micro Solutions is pleased to announce the release of the DUA Administrator utility. This new utility provides a graphical interface to Device Update Agent’s (DUA) registry settings. DUA is an Embedded Enabling Feature of Windows® XP Embedded that provides a simple update solution.

“Until now the registry editor was the only immediate method to access DUA’s settings without having to create your own script or utility,” says Sean Liming, Owner of SJJ Embedded Micro Solutions, “DUA Administrator provides direct access and a simple means to change DUA’s settings”

Administrators can change polling days, times, and intervals as well as update file paths. The utility also offers the ability to manually control the DUA service. The CD includes an SLD file so you can build the utility right into an XP Embedded image. The utility requires Microsoft® .Net Framework v2.0 to be installed in the image.
